No Country For Mothers - Movie Screening on Friday, September 25th

Mancos Public Library will host the screening of No Country For Mothers: An
Investigation Into the Lies Dividing American Mothers, on Friday, September
25th, 6:30-9:00 pm in the meeting room. Childcare will be provided and it's
free to attend.

No Country for Mothers explores the culture wars surrounding American
motherhood and why both the "girl boss" and "trad wife" labels ultimately
distract us from the real issue: the lack of support for American families.

Following activist Reshma Saujani, the film charts a growing national
movement to reunite moms across divisions and win the kind of historic
support families actually need.

This isn’t just about watching a film; it’s about being in a room where we
can say things out loud that we’ve been carrying quietly, and realize we’re
not alone. There will be discussion time to follow.
